Born on 2nd march, 1961 at Kolkata.Had School Education at Jiaganj Raja Bijoy Singha Vidya Mandir (Murshidabad).Having his college education at Jiaganj R.D.K. college of commerce, graduated from the University of Calcutta in the year 1981.Obtained L.L.B degree from the University of Calcutta in the year 1985. Enrolled as an Advocate on 12th day of june,1986.Started practice in both Civil & Criminal sides of the Lalbagh Court,Murshidabad. Joined West Bengal Civil Service (Judicial) on 3rd day of January,1994.Held the post of Munsif & Judicial Magistrate.Appointed as Sub-divisional Judicial Magistrate, Jalpaiguri in October 2003. Held the post of Assistant district & sessions Judge at Alipurduar,JPG and Suri,Birbhum. Awarded appreciation by the Legal Services Authority, High Court, Calcutta for conducting awareness programme on HIV as secretary DLSA, Birbhum.
