He is a Former Judge of Allahabad High Court and held important assignments such as being Member of Administrative Committee, Administrative Judge, District Chitrakoot, Member of Committee for Creation of Courts in districts of U.P. and establishment of Gram Nyayalayas. He was Nominated Member of the Committee dealing with preventive and remedial measures for combating the impending threat of Covid-19 in district courts of U.P. He was also Member of the Board to interview the candidates for the post of H.J.S (Higher Judicial Service) as well as Member of the Board of U.P. Public Service Commission to hold interview for P.C.S.(J) (Provincial Civil Service (Judicial)) candidates. He was also nominated by Hon’ble the Chief Justice to chair the Selection Committee to appoint Chairman of the State Consumer Commission as well as to appoint Presidents of the District Consumer Commissions. He holds Experience of 36 years of Judicial functioning beginning with Civil Judge (Junior Division) in the year 1985 upto the level of Judge of High Court, from where he retired on 23.06.2021. Thereafter, he held office of Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal-I, Prayagraj w.e.f. 27.07.2021 to 14.04.2022 and thereafter has joined present assignment as a Judicial Member in National Green Tribunal, (Western Zone), Pune Bench on 14.04.2022.
