Born on 07.07.1967 at Konnagar, West Bengal.

Basic Education from St. Thomas School, Chandannagore, West Bengal, Nabagram Vidyapith, Konnagar and Krishna Nath Collegiate School, Behrampore, West Bengal.

Graduated in Science from the Scottish Church College, Calcutta.

Pursued LL.B. from Hooghly Mohsin College under the Burdwan University, West Bengal In the year 1994. Completed MBA from the Indira Gandhi National Open University in the year 1998 and LL.M from the annamalai University in the year 2013.

Enrolles as Advocate with the West Bangal Bar Council and also with Alipore court Bar Association, Calcutta in the year 1995.

Joined as Law Officer in the west Bengal Legal Service(WBLS) on 18.05.1999.

Worked as law Officer in the Law Department and Environment Department, Government of West Bengal and also as Hearing Office in the West Bengal Pollution Control Board, prior to joining the National Green Tribunal.

Have been serving Under national green Tribunal, Eastern Zone Bench, Kolkata as Deputy Registrar, on deputation, since 05.06.2014. He has been repatriated to his Parent Cadre on 31.05.2018.
